Background
-
Moish was a Rabbi and grief coach at the Jewish Burial Society of Pittsburgh. There he supported families dealing with loss and guided them through the Jewish ritual practices for grieving their loved ones.
-
For over 14 years Moish has worked as an advocate for ill and dying patients in medical facilities, helping them and their families through this difficult time.
-
Following the Pittsburgh Tree of Life Massacre in 2018, Rabbi Moish was among the first responders at the scene, assisting in the crime cleanup, and ensuring that Jewish law was upheld at this time. He then served as a grief specialist to the community, helping individuals to cope with the shock and trauma of such a tragic incident.
-
Moish held positions as a Rabbi Chaplain and bereavement coordinator at various hospices in the Las Vegas area. In this capacity, he has conducted grief groups and one-on-one sessions to comfort and support dying patients through their end-of-life experiences.
